Antwerp, the second city in Belgium, has the largest port in the country. Its train station is one of the most spectacular buildings in Europe. The Notre-Dame Cathedral, the largest Gothic church in the Netherlands, houses paintings by world-renowned artists, however, the absolute masterpieces of the visit will be Rubens' paintings. Our guided walk will begin at Steen, the impressive 13th-century castle that protected the city and its harbor. Then visit the houses of the Gothic Guilds on the Market Square. The Scheldt River is the cradle of Antwerp where the city has built the MAS-Museum, whose spectacular views of the harbor and the old town itself will be appreciated.
