From Copenhagen to Jutland Peninsula, visit Denmark and its three largest cities. The most famous one is Copenhagen with wonderful attractions to discover such as the enchanting Gardens of Tivoli, an amusement park dating back to 1843 or the Amalienborg Place, although a promenade on the waterfront and along Nyhavn canal with its colourful houses is enough to charm you. Odense is best known as the birth town of Hans Christian Andersen, a writer who created popular tales like The Little Mermaid, where a museum was set up in his childhood home. As for Aarhus, the town’s history dates back to the Vikings, but its artistic and cultural scene is alive and well as the city counts numerous museums, such as the ARoS Aarhus Kunstmuseum, one of the largest art museums of Northern Europe.
