Set out for Saint-Rémy-de-Provence with a stop at the Roman monuments for photos. Take an optional visit to Van Gogh’s bedroom reproduction in the Saint-Paul de Mausole psychiatric hospital (not included). An open-air market takes place on Wednesdays. Later, visit Les Baux-de-Provence where you can take in the breathtaking view of the exceptional scenery from its 245-meter-high rocky spur. The village has kept its medieval layout including the narrow streets and ruins of the castle belonging to Les Baux’s former lords. Then travel to Arles and stroll in the footsteps of Van Gogh, discovering the very places that inspired his work. The city is also world-famous for its architectural heritage—make sure you don’t miss it! The market is held on Saturdays.
