Travel by coach to Paestum, the capital of the mozzarella cheese. Visit the wonderful bufalara, learn how they grow the buffalos for the milk, observe the complete process and taste the real mozzarella under the groves, freshly done by the expert hands. Then, continue to the archeological site of Paestum, which has been for a thousand years a romantic ruin in the midst of a solemn wilderness. Its well-preserved Doric temples produce a majestic effect. Set in a grass field the site is surrounded by charming gardens and hills. Then, visit the exceptional museum, that holds finds excavated from the site, including a set of archaic period Greek metopes, and the "Tomb of the Diver", a naturalistic tomb painting, the only existing Greek wall painting in Italy. Return to the hotel in the afternoon.
