Fleet Specialist

The Fleet specialist provides support to the fleet manager and/or immediate supervisor in the writing of technical documentation and the review of manufacturer documentations. The incumbent will be responsible for the administrative tasks for maintaining the maintenance program according to the requirements of the authorities as well as corporate requirements. The approval of the maintenance program changes is under the Fleet Manager in coordination with the Director of Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Under the leadership of the Fleet Manager and Manager of Engineering update the maintenance programs according to the manufacturer's and Transport Canada requirements;
  • Attach and Edit the tasks into the AMOS system;
  • Assist in the incorporation of the maintenance program into AMOS for newly imported A/C;
  • Draft technical documents (Task cards, MSM, TR );
  • Provide required and requested support to the fleet manager or his delegate.

Requirements

  • General knowledge of aircraft systems and aircraft maintenance principals;
  • Experience in developing and updating of aircraft maintenance programs;
  • Knowledge of the rules related to the MSM, MRB and MPD etc;
  • Knowledge and Experience with AMOS software is an asset;
  • Bilingualism (English/French): essential;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications;
  • Reliable, thorough and methodical, you enjoy working in a team.
  • Mandatory COVID-19 vaccination.
