You don't often associate a trip to Guadeloupe with strolling through a city because there aren’t that many to see. But if you have the time, Pointe-à-Pitre should definitely make your to-do list. Narrow streets are filled with local flare and lined with shops, and Place de la Victoire, the town centre, is a great place to grab a seat and watch the world go by.
