Fascinating tour of the beautiful city of Cartagena, known in colonial times as Cartagena de Indias. Visit the old and modern parts of the city where you will find some of the most impressive monuments and iconic landmarks such as the castle of San Felipe de Barajas, the largest fortress ever built by the Spanish in one of their colonies. Continue your tour to the monument of the Old Shoes (Las Botas Viejas), a bronze sculpture erected as a tribute to the poet Luis Carlos Lopez. Then continue through the historic centre of Cartagena to feel the essence of the city through its colonial architecture and its vibrant coloured streets.
