Venice: Italy’s improbable city of otherworldly beauty

Your Venice Vacation

Nicknamed “La Serenissima,” meaning “the most serene,” Venice is a city unlike any other in the world. For centuries a leading player in terms of world trade and culture, today it’s an enchanting Italian Mecca for tourism, where gondolas float right up to your hotel and there’s no shortage of things to do.

Venice Your Way

Made up of over 100 islands connected by footbridges, the fish-shaped city of Venice – with its seafood specialties and singing gondoliers who navigate the maze of canals so gracefully – has been enchanting visitors for centuries. The same can be said of Verona, Bologna and the Italian Lake District, all within driving distance.
