Departures on jeeps 4x4 to Pinares de Mayari, a town located 84 km east of Guardalavaca and one of the most exciting regions in Cuba thanks to the richness of its endemic species, with more than 445 different species in a landscape featuring original pine forests, charrascal and evergreen forests. On the way, you can visit the historical museum Biran, the birthplace of the Castro family. Then, you will climb the Sierra Cristal on its north-side mountain roads. Stop at the El Guayabo waterfall to enjoy the spectacular view from the lookout, the highest cascade on the island located 546 meters above sea level. Visit to a local farmer's house. Typical lunch at Villa Pinares, and a ride through the natural wonders of the southern side of the Mayari plateau for the return.
