Louise Piché is named Corporate Vice-President, Human Resources of Transat A.T. Inc.

Jean-Marc Eustache, President and Chief Executive Officer of Transat A.T. Inc., is pleased to announce the appointment of Louise Piché as Corporate Vice-President, Human Resources.

"We are pleased to welcome Louise Piché to Transat's management team. This position was created to ensure the formulation and implementation of an integrated human resources management strategy that will see to the mobilization of personnel and the development of the organization in support to Transat's business objectives," stated Mr. Eustache.

Louise Piché has the combined experience of a leading manager and consultant in human resources management. From 1998 to date, she was Vice- President, Human Resources at the Business Development Bank of Canada. As a consultant from 1996 to 1998, she carried out various mandates in the field of human resources. From 1975 to 1996, she fulfilled various management functions at Canadian National Railways before becoming Vice-President, Human Resources, a position she held from 1990 to 1996.

Louise Piché holds a Ph.D. in industrial psychology from the Université de Montréal. She is a member of several professional associations and orders including the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines et en relations industrielles agréés du Québec and the Ordre des psychologues du Québec.
