Transat A.T. Inc. announces the departure of Denis Jacob

MONTREAL, Oct. 22/CNW/

Jean-Marc Eustache, President and Chief Executive Officer of Transat A.T. Inc., announces the departure of Denis Jacob who was Senior Vice-President, Air Transportation. Mr. Jacob has decided to leave the Corporation in order to pursue personal interests. This decision is effective November 1, 2002.

Mr. Eustache warmly thanked Mr. Jacob, who has worked at Transat for 13 years, first at Air Transat where he held several positions, including that of President and Chief Executive Officer from May 2000 to May 2002, at which time he joined the Transat team at the head office. Mr. Eustache will assume Mr. Jacob's responsibilities.
