The 20th Festival International de Jazz de Montréal - Air Transat charts a course for musical

Montreal, June 17, 1999

Air Transat, the leading charter carrier in Canada, is the proud sponsor of two outdoors series entitled Les Voix Air Transat and Les Découvertes Air Transat both within the framework of the 20th Festival International de Jazz de Montréal.

“This is the first time we’ve become involved with the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal, and we are very proud to be associated with such a prestigious event. This collaboration, as both the official carrier for Europe and as an official sponsor, is perfectly attuned to what we offer travellers, except that in this case it’s a journey of musical and cultural discovery. In this sense, we are convinced that the artists who perform on the Air Transat stage will greatly add to the pleasure of festival-goers,” stated Philippe Sureau, President and Chief Executive Officer of Air Transat.

Throughout the festival, Air Transat will be hosting the tourist information booth emblazoned with the colours of Air Transat and Air Transat Holidays. From noon to midnight, festival-goers will be able to obtain, among other information, details about the destinations served by the airline and tour wholesaler.
