Air Transat to Gradually Resume Operations

MONTREAL, Sept. 13

Air Transat announces that effective today, September 13, it will gradually resume operations for all domestic flights and for transatlantic flights departing Canada. We are awaiting authorization from the Canadian authorities to resume transborder flights. Flights departing Europe will gradually resume beginning tomorrow, Friday, September 14. Canadian authorities advise, however, that heightened security measures may result in delays at major Canadian airports.

We ask passengers with tickets for departure from Canada for September 11, 12, and 13, and passengers with tickets for departure from Europe for September 12, 13, and 14, to go to the airport.

Air Transat is also offering passengers who were to travel on flights scheduled for September 11, 12, or 13 the possibility of obtaining a refund or travel credit. Passengers who choose one of these options are asked to contact their travel agents, who have been informed of the procedures to follow.

Air Transat ensures all its passengers that the company will make every possible effort to accommodate you. We thank you all for your understanding and co-operation under these exceptional circumstances.
