Transat, Canada’s holiday travel leader, this week flew its first flight from North Bay to Punta Cana. Transat’s Sun packages, sold under the Transat Holidays and Nolitours brands, become more readily available to clients in the greater Northern Ontario.
Offered on Tuesdays from December 20, 2011 to April 3, 2012, the weekly flight will be operated by Transat’s preferred Canadian air carrier partner, CanJet Airlines, aboard a new generation Boeing 737-800.
“Our clients will be able to choose from an impressive selection of resorts, sold by the Transat Holidays and Nolitours brands,” commented Nicole Bursey, Commercial Director for Ontario and Atlantic Canada. “We would like to thank the city and airport officials as well as local travel agents for their support in making this new venture a reality.”
