Transat Holidays and Nolitours return from an eye-opening famtrip to Samana

Transat Holidays and Nolitours have returned from a familiarization trip to Samana, Dominican Republic, with 50 travel agents from Toronto, which took place from April 16 to 19, 2013.

Known for its rugged landscapes, coconut groves and spectacular beaches, Samana is a slice of paradise offering tranquillity, authenticity and unspoiled beauty in a lush, tropical setting. Mountains give way to magnificent beaches that extend over several kilometres in certain parts along the northern and southern coasts of the peninsula, and on the shores of nearby islands. The lively city boasts a pretty little port, one of the most colourful public markets in the country and several great restaurants. Los Haitises National Park, with its mangroves, islets and caves bearing original Taino pictographs, is just one of the many attractions of this destination, which truly has something for everyone!
