Transat Acquires French Tour Operator Bennett Voyages

Montreal, Qc, Canada, June 22, 2005

Transat A.T. Inc. is pleased to announce the acquisition, through its Vacances Transat (France) subsidiary, of 100% of the shares of Bennett Voyages, a French outgoing tour operator specialized in packages and tours to Scandinavia, the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Bennett Voyages' has some 30 employees and sales of approximately 20 million euros. Based in Paris, Bennett Voyages had been owned by its current management since 1994. Bennett Voyages will benefit from Transat’s support for its financial, strategic and operational development, namely with regards to distribution.

Transat A.T. Inc. with its head office in Montreal is an integrated company specializing in the organization, marketing, and distribution of holiday travel. The core of its business consists of tour operators in Canada and France.
