Transat A.T. Inc. announces signing of an agreement for new Airbus A330

As part of its previously announced Air Transat fleet renewal program, Transat A.T. Inc. announces the signing of an agreement with International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC) for the long-term leasing of a new Airbus A330 wide-body jet.

The new aircraft will be Air Transat’s seventh Airbus A330 and should be put into service in April 2011. Air Transat operates 13 Airbus A310s (249 seats), which will be gradually withdrawn from the fleet, and six Airbus A330s (342 seats), including one to be added to the fleet by this coming fall.
