Montreal, April 25, 2016 — Air Transat is pleased to be associated with Rendez-vous Canada 2016, a major international tourism trade show, and to contribute to the positioning of Canada as a top destination for international tourists.

On April 24, Guérard joined Jean-François Lemay, President of Air Transat, at Rendez-vous Canada 2016, along with many of Transat’s key partners, for an evening of culinary discovery at Toqué! restaurant, in the company of celebrity chef and owner, Normand Laprise.

This summer, Air Transat offers more than 50 direct flights between Canadian and European cities, with flight frequency varying from daily to weekly. Its numerous connecting flights add to this number, giving Canadians more opportunities to travel to Europe thanks to several new domestic flights. Furthermore, cities like London and Paris are served by Air Transat year-round. More than 50% of passengers on these flights are European and come to discover Canada.
