New edition of Atmosphere magazine now on board Air Transat flights

Montreal, June 2, 2016 — Air Transat is pleased to announce that, since June 1, 2016, its passengers have the opportunity to read the latest issue of Atmosphere magazine on its flights. This biannual and bilingual publication informs, entertains and inspires passengers with its stories on captivating destinations, cool fashion fads, new technologies, trendy restaurants, exotic cultures and more.

The theme of the June-November 2016 edition of Atmosphere is ties that bind us, as travellers and as citizens of this vast planet. “Our readers will discover plenty of ways to connect with people in their destination, whether by mingling with the locals at one of the world’s most fascinating zoos or sharing the pleasures of a meal in someone’s home during Restaurant Day,” says Jean-François Lemay, General Manager of Air Transat.

The latest Atmosphere also features an ode to crossing the country by train, invites readers to explore Holland’s famous flower fields, shares must-see attractions in Madrid and paints a colourful portrait of Martinique, Guadeloupe and Saint Lucia. And as a bonus, it contains a mini-guide on the Dominican Republic that immerses readers into the culture, cuisine and customs of this much-beloved destination.

The latest issue of Atmosphere, as well as all previous editions, are available online, at airtransat.com/en-CA/Travel-information/Inflight-services/Entertainment
