Vacation is calling… in Canada, for travellers from British Coumbia

Montreal, March 8, 2017 – Air Transat invites travellers from British Columbia to discover more of Canada this summer thanks to its direct flights to Montreal, Toronto and Calgary. From May to October, the airline will offer, from Vancouver, daily flights to Toronto, three flights a week to Montreal, and six flights a week to Calgary.

“Canada is becoming an increasingly popular holiday destination, and we are pleased to offer flights that will allow travellers to explore more of it,” says Annick Guérard, President and General Manager of Transat Tours Canada. “In addition to travelling with the company named Best North American Leisure Airline by Skytrax, Air Transat’s clients will also benefit from our inflight entertainment system and will have the option to upgrade to Option Plus or Club Class.”

Most flights will be aboard a Boeing 737. Air Transat will operate its flights between Vancouver and Calgary on its Airbus A330 aircraft. The flight schedule will be as follows:

27 transatlantic destinations available to Canadians this summer

Air Transat’s summer 2017 transatlantic flight program offers 27 destinations, now available to a greater number of travellers thanks to its enriched connecting flight service. The airline also recently unveiled a new destination, Tel Aviv in Israel.

From Vancouver, Air Transat will be operating direct flights to Paris, Amsterdam, London, Glasgow and Manchester this summer. Thanks to its connecting flight program, the carrier will further increase access to its wide range of transatlantic destinations – one of the most diversified on the market – by offering clients more choice and flexibility when planning their holidays.
