Montreal, September 9, 2020 – Transat Distribution Canada (TDC), Canada’s largest full-service travel agency network, is pleased to invite their more than 3,000 travel professionals to their first-ever virtual national conference, to be held on October 1 from 4 to 8 p.m EST. Under the theme "Ready. Set. Go. “, the TDC community and their preferred partners will gather together to discuss the challenges they are facing and how they can best serve travellers with their future travel plans.
“The annual conference has always been a tradition within the TDC network. And this moment when we all come together is essential, perhaps even more so in times like this, when we need to set new benchmarks for ourselves, individually and collectively," said Louise Fecteau, General Manager of Transat Distribution Canada. "The theme we have chosen is clear: our travel professionals are ready to welcome their customers, discuss their travel plans with them and guide them through this new reality”.
She also adds, "the unprecedented situation the travel industry is currently facing, makes us realize how critically important it is to have a team that supports us. That's exactly what the TDC Network offers our members, whether they are part of our franchised agency network, our corporate agencies, or our agent@home program. We represent all the different facets of the travel industry and having the ability to benefit collectively from the expertise of all these travel professionals is an incredible asset. Today more than ever, our travel professionals want to feel supported in the journey they are faced with and want to share their realities with their peers," insists Louise Fecteau.
She concludes by mentioning that "for the first time at TDC, we will have the pleasure of bringing together our French and English speaking members from across Canada in a single meeting".
In this virtual universe, developed by Travel Alliance, participants will be able to visit the trade show and interact with more than 35 TDC preferred partners.
A chat area will be accessible at all times to allow participants to mingle with each other to exchange best practices, as well as with members of TDC's management team, including General Manager Louise Fecteau and President Joseph Adamo.
