The Marietas Islands National Park, at the entrance of Banderas Bay, is located at the confluence of 2 major Pacific Ocean currents which creates an area incredibly rich and abundant with marine life. Marietas is recognized internationally as a critically important marine sanctuary with incredible natural beauty. There are 2 main islands, various smaller islands, and 2 beautiful natural beaches (The famous Playa de Amor and Playa Nopalera). Along the way to the Marietas you have an excellent chance of seeing Dolphins, Turtles (Summer), Manta Rays (Spring), and Humpback Whales (Winter). Our Guide will explain the ecosystems, marine life, and some local culture and then at Marietas, join us for snorkeling, beach, and bird watching. Sightsee along the islands coasts with rugged shoreline, cliffs, caves, natural arches and chimneys. During the return, relax with the boat under sail and enjoy the hospitality of our crew. For those who enjoy nature, a tour not to be missed!
