Thanks to its partnership with Porter, Transat can now offer vacation packages in exciting new South destinations like Nassau, Bahamas and George Town, Cayman Islands. Flights for these packages will be operated by Porter, while all other package inclusions will be managed by Transat.

This partnership also allows us to extend our presence in Cancún and Puerto Vallarta, offering you more options for your vacation planning – all with the reliable Transat experience you know and love.

How it works:

  • The reservation
    • You book the vacation package with Transat
    • All package services and inclusions will be managed by Transat
    • All packages include one checked bag and one carry-on per person

  • The flight experience
    • The flights will be operated by Porter Airlines (starting fall 2026, with departures available from Ontario only)
    • You check-in at Porter Airlines counters at the airport

  • At the destination
    • Airport-hotel transfers are arranged and managed by Transat
    • A Transat representative will be available at the resort
    • You have access to ongoing Transat support throughout the duration of your stay

  • On Porter‑operated flights, passengers can enjoy complimentary snacks, beer and wine, as well as onboard Wi‑Fi on select Embraer E195‑E2 aircraft; however, individual in‑flight entertainment systems are not available and Option Plus does not apply.
