Nelson Gentiletti is named Vice-President, Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer of Transat A.T. Inc.

Jean-Marc Eustache, Chairman of the Board and President and Chief Executive Officer of Transat A.T. Inc., is pleased to announce the appointment of Nelson Gentiletti to the position of Vice-President, Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer of Transat A.T. Inc.

Nelson Gentiletti began his career in 1983. Prior to his appointment at Transat, he was Chief Financial Officer at BCE Emergis Inc., a subsidiary of BCE Inc. Before that, he was Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer at Unican Security Systems Ltd, a public corporation. He was also Vice-President, Finance at Vidéotron ltée and, from 1986 to 1996, he held several positions at Minet, a property and casualty insurance broker, before becoming Chief Financial Officer and Head of Administration in the corporation's North American head office in New York. Nelson Gentiletti is a chartered accountant and graduate of McGill University. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University.

Jean-Marc Eustache went on to announce that Lorraine Maheu will also take on new challenges in another area of the corporation's activity. She becomes Vice-President, Finance and Administration of Transat Tours Canada Inc., a subsidiary that brings together the operations of Transat's principal Canadian tour operators (Air Transat Holidays, Nolitour, and World of Vacations).

 Tour operators are Transat's core business and offer the corporation strong potential for improved synergy. In her new capacity, Ms. Maheu will have the mandate to implement and develop various aspects of financial management connected to the creation of this new subsidiary.
