Susan Bowman appointed Vice-President, Marketing and Supplier Relations, Transat Distribution Canada

Montreal, March 31, 2011

Yves Lalumière, President of Transat Distribution Canada (TDC), the country’s leading retail distributor of holiday travel, is pleased to announce the appointment of Susan Bowman as Vice-President, Marketing and Supplier Relations. In this capacity, Ms. Bowman will be responsible for the commercialization and supplier relations programs across Canada, and in charge of all marketing operations for the network, which comprises nearly 500 agencies and some 2,300 travel consultants. She takes up her duties on April 15, 2011.

Ms. Bowman has worked in the travel industry for more than 25 years, holding senior positions with several companies including those of Senior Vice-President, Business and Industry Affairs, and Senior Vice-President, Marketing, with Thomas Cook. Her industry experience has also been enriched by important positions held at American Express Canada and INTRA Travel Corporation. For the past year, she has served as Senior Director of Travel Rewards, AIR MILES Reward Program.
