Summer 2010 with Air Transat, Nolitours and Transat Holidays

Air Transat, Nolitours and Transat Holidays expect an exciting summer, packed with lots of great vacation options in the Caribbean and in Europe.

This summer, Air Transat and Transat Holidays are offering direct flights from Vancouver to 11 European destinations in France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands and United Kingdom.  This year, the new destination is Athens, in Greece, departing from Vancouver. From Calgary, it is seven European destinations offered in direct flights in France, Germany, the Netherlands and United Kingdom. Finally, from Edmonton Air Transat and Transat Holidays offer direct flight to London and Frankfurt. Note that our Open Jaw service, which allows travellers to fly into one city and return home from a different one, is offered with no extra charge and available with all destinations.

Transat Holidays offers a complete range of city packages and seaside packages, coach tours, river cruises (in France and the Netherlands) and cruises on the open seas. The tour operator also offers à la carte accommodations, excursions, and car rentals. This broad offering has something for almost everyone.

This summer, Nolitours and Transat Holidays will offer flights to Mexico from Western Canada. Cancun/Riviera Maya will be accessible from Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton and Puerto Vallarta from Vancouver and Calgary. Vacationers will fly to Sun destinations with Air Transat or its partner airline, CanJet. This airline offers its passengers a cold meal as well as a glass of champagne. CanJet’s seat selection service is available online or by calling 1-800-809-7777.

With Air Transat, travellers can choose their seat selection online, for optimal comfort onboard. In addition, to avoid waiting at the airport, they can check in online at airtransat.ca between 24 and 2 hours before departure in the comfort of their own home. All that remains to be done is to drop their luggage at the baggage counter, thus saving valuable time.

Option Plus offers loads of services and privileges in Economy Class including seat selection, priority baggage delivery, a 10 kg excess baggage allowance and more. This option can be reserved online or through the Air Transat Information and Seat Selection Centre at 1-877-TRANSAT. For maximum comfort, Air Transat’s Club Class provides roomier, more comfortable leather seats, a choice of delicious meals and personalized service.

Vacationers travelling with children will appreciate Air Transat’s Kids Club, whose members enjoy numerous unique advantages such as free seat selection for registered kids, as well as services for young families including priority boarding and priority meal service.

Kiloflex is a prepaid excess baggage service, which is perfect for people who frequently travel with a lot of luggage. By paying the excess baggage fee in advance, travellers can save 33%.

An enhanced meal plan and extra legroom help make Air Transat even more pleasant. Passengers flying to Sun destinations will receive a welcome glass of champagne, along with a meal tray with an appetizer, a choice between two hot main dishes, dessert and a glass of wine. On flights to Europe, meal trays will contain an appetizer, choice of three hot entrées, a glass of wine and dessert. And that’s not all! The airline has revamped its in-flight magazine, Atmosphere, offering passengers a chance to learn all about Air Transat’s destinations through articles and photographs. Finally, the onboard movie selection has also been chosen with care.

Europe has never been so affordable! Passengers can take advantage of incredible savings on numerous packages and tours in Europe – up to $400 per couple, plus a 50% reduction on Hertz car rental with the purchase of two airplane tickets.
