Tsunamis in South and Southeast Asia Transat A.T. inc. donates $25,000 to the Canadian Red Cross and will match individual donations made by its employees

Transat A.T. Inc. will donate $25,000 to help victims of the earthquake and tsunamis in South and Southeast Asia. In addition, the Company has organized a fundraising campaign among its employees and has pledged to match every individual donation made by January 31. The total amount amassed will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross.

“As a tourism company devoted to meeting the expectations of travellers and which forms partnerships with local populations in order to do so, we cannot help but be touched by the catastrophe that has occurred in South and Southeast Asia,” said Transat President and Chief Executive Officer, Jean-Marc Eustache.
