W. Brian Edwards appointed to the Board of Directors of Transat A.T. Inc.

Montreal, June 10, 2010

Jean-Marc Eustache, Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Transat A.T. Inc., today announced the appointment of W. Brian Edwards as an Independent Director of the Company.

In 1988 Mr. Edwards founded BCE Emergis which became one of North America’s largest electronic commerce companies. He is Chair of the Board of Miranda Technologies Inc. (TSX: MT) and of Biotonix 2010 Inc. (TSX: BTX-V) and sits on the Boards of Camoplast Inc. and Impath Networks Canada Corporation. Mr. Edwards is also Vice-Chair of the Board of Governors of Concordia University and for many years was active with Centraide/United Way including being a past Co-Chair of the campaign. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia.
