Montreal, March 19, 2014 — February marked the official launch of Transat Holidays’ 2014 Europe program with the Europe Training Academies, held in 34 cities across Canada. The Transat sales force was able to engage over 3,300 travel agents and share the endless possibilities Transat Holidays’ Europe program has to offer. Over 50 hoteliers joined the academies in select cities for an extra learning opportunity with our Europe Caravan.
“It is essential to offer travel agents ongoing training and provide them with the tools and support they need at work. As Transat Holidays’ Europe program continues to expand, these training sessions are becoming increasingly important,” said Denise Heffron, Vice-President, National Sales & Commercial, Transat Tours Canada.

We are very proud to announce that our travel partners from coast to coast helped us raise $6188.84 for the charitable Beyond Borders organization. All agents who donated funds to the charity were entered in a draw. The winners for each region are:

- Barbi Sykes from Uniglobe GEO Travel - 7-night stay in Paris
